This one day practical training event will run for one full day on a Saturday and will cover the latest technologies in the areas of:

• Text-To-Speech Technology e.g. Read Write Gold
• Speech to text technology e.g. Dragon NaturallySpeaking
• Mind mapping and idea generation technology e.g. Mindview, Inspiration, Mind Manager
• Flashcard Technology e.g. Quizlet’s
• Reading Pens e.g. C pen
• Accessibility features on Apple and android operating systems

The course will be delivered by Mark Burleigh who has over 10 years’ experience in training and teaching Assistive Technology to audiences from primary through to third level education.

Date: Saturday 17th November from 10am – 4.30pm

Venue: The Education Centre, Tralee

Cost: €10 including Tea/Coffee & Sandwiches
