The reading fluency webinar will briefly explain why focus on reading fluency. Then it will outline key strategies for improving fluency such as precision teaching of single words, the repeated reading strategy and Readers Theatre which focus on text reading. Ellen will provide useful resources for each of these strategies and she will make them available to all teachers that attend.

Biography

Dr. Ellen Reynor is currently Assistant Professor in the School of Inclusive and Special Education in DCU. She lectures in literacy, dyslexia and Universal Design for Learning and is Chair of the Masters in Specific Learning Difficulties/Dyslexia.
