Quick Steps to Podcasting for Post Primary Teachers 
 
So you want to start a podcast or maybe you want to introduce it to the classroom? Learn the quick tips and tricks to Podcasting to get you or your pupils starting. Maybe you would prefer to learn the tricks of producing or recording content for the class - than this workshop is for you. Either way, podcasts and audio can be very creative and educational alternatives in the classroom and this workshop explains quick guides.
We will be looking at a 10 step process in how you can planproducerecord, and publish audio recordings to reach your audience of pupils. 
Remote teaching and online platforms have become the new mediums for the class. If podcasts may not be exactly what you are looking for - this workshop will show you alternative ways in how you can create content and use audio as a medium to teach and for pupils to participate in return.
 
Bio of Presenter
 
Elaine Smith is a freelance reporter and sound engineer in radio and has produced many podcasts. She currently works for Newstalk and TodayFM from their Cork studio and has an extensive background in radio where she first began her career as a news broadcaster at RedFM. Since then she has branched out to the world of podcasting and has produced and recorded a variety of podcasts. She has has done several podcast workshops at the CESC and is currently teaching a podcast workshop for TY's at Colaiste an Chroi Naofa.
