Enriching English is a programme that was developed by Julie Prendiville, a teacher from Kerry working in Kilkenny.
Enriching English links reading, writing and oral language, leading to a greater degree of comprehension for the child. Minimal resources are required to implement this strategy, which is referred to as “tagging”. Enriching English allows children to develop independent thinking, self-assess and express opinions confidently in a fun and enjoyable way. The children focus on developing their abilities and potential as critical thinkers, teachers and authors. In the videos and tutoring provided within the course you will be given a structured ten week step by step guide on how to implement the strategies in the programme.
