20TRA366 Supporting students with Specific Learning needs from a distance
In these difficult times the most vulnerable students in our school communities are a considerable concern for all who engage with them for learning and guidance. We are hosting a special webinar to guide schools as they continue to nurture these students from a distance. We acknowledge that often these students are difficult to reach. We have engaged a unique panel of experts to offer advice and encouragement and to share recommendations associated with SEN teaching and learning during this time.
- Michael Coughlan, an experienced SET will share a suite of ideas, tools and resources for students and parents to adapt at home
- Dr Ciara MacConnuibh will offer guidance on team teaching and collaboration in approaching SEN students and guiding parents.
- Dr Michele Dunleavy will offer advice around ASD student learning at home.
