Discover the value of risky play and why its essential for a childs development, resilience and confidence. The webinar will explore what risky play actually means , how to recognise developmentally appropriate risk-taking, and how educators can safely facilitate these experiences . We will focus on practical strategies and supports, learning how to safely create risk taking opportunities and support a child's natural curiosity and healthy exploration. 

Bio of Presenter: Liath Sheehen

Liath Sheehan is an Occupational Therapist based in North Cork. Liath works with children and adolescents from 0-18. Liath’s passion is providing child-led therapy that focuses on building independence and involves a child’s entire support system. Liath has completed additional training in sensory integration, cognitive behavioral therapy, feeding therapy and mindfulness for children with additional needs.  @risetherapy.ie
