Leading in Challenging Times

Focus:  This session will focus on understanding and addressing the challenges that leaders face in these unprecedent times. It aims to assist leaders in developing a nurturing perspective that will support their resilience in the weeks and months ahead.

Facilitator: Dr Joe O’ Connell

Joe O’ Connell has held a number of leadership roles in education in Ireland, he is a former director of Limerick Education Centre, he was a post-primary school principal and was the founding Director of St Senan’s Education Office which served the Catholic Dioceses of Kerry, Limerick and Killaloe. Joe currently supports various management bodies as well as the Centre for School Leadership and is an independent expert in relation to school leadership for the Directorate General Reform of the European Commission.
