Target Audience: Leaving Cert Higher Level Maths Teachers
This webinar explores Leaving Cert Higher Level integration through a practical, real-life approach, building on students' prior knowledge of functions and graphs. Integration is presented as a natural extension of familiar ideas, helping students understand what they are calculating, particularly the meaning of the constant of integration.
A range of active learning strategies will be modelled to address common Higher Level misconceptions and support understanding.
The session also highlights efficient, exam-focused teaching approaches, helping teachers present integration as a clear structure and manageable topic. All strategies shared will be classroom-ready and directly applicable to Leaving Cert Higher Level Mathematics.
