Since ancient times, poetry has been deeply embedded in Irish culture, yet it is often overlooked as a rich, sensory experience in the classroom. On this annual day of poetry celebration in Ireland, this session will explore a collection of poems, linked to this year’s theme of home, which teachers can share with children and young people of all ages.
