Neurodivergent students often find the experience of attending school overwhelming, as they communicate, play, form relationships and sense the world around them differently to their neurotypical peers. In this webinar participants will1. Enhance their understanding of the Neurodivergent learner’s experience in school
2. Learn practical strategies to manage and prevent anxiety in the classroom
3. Develop understanding of the Window of Tolerance and brains response to stress
Facilitator: Dr. Clara O Byrne PhD., M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Phil., B.Sc., B.A., HDE.
Dr Clara is a Chartered Psychologist with expertise in Education and Disability and is a certified ADHD Parent Coach. A former NCSE advisor (Behaviour & Wellbeing) and special school teacher, she runs a private practice in West Cork. Dr Clara’s extensive training has focused on neuro-affirming practices, coaching psychology, brain/body connection, stress management and disability advocacy.
