Learning intentions for the session

Participants will:
• Learn that formative feedback cannot be viewed in isolation from mindset, student agency or motivation
• Be informed about research findings in relation to what makes formative feedback effective
• Make links between policy and practice in relation to student engagement
• Learn some strategies to help ensure the voices of the seldom-heard are included in the classroom
